Do you know how to spot an intuitive?
It’s not quite Where’s-Waldo level difficult – spotting people who are tuned into their intuition can be easy when you know what traits to look for.
Do you have a friend that you always gravitate towards for advice and a listening ear? They exude an energy you’re drawn to, one that is comforting and dripping with understanding.
Or maybe you have a friend or colleague that you love working with because they’re a top-notch communicator, and always clear and focused when it comes to decision-making.
These are all qualities of intuitive people… and you just may be one, too!
They’re Extremely Empathetic
That friend I mentioned who is your go-to for advice and understanding? That energy they exude comes from their extreme empathy for others. You feel at ease in their presence because they pick up on your energy – and know how to best communicate with you because of it. They can sense when you’re having a bad day, when you’re struggling – or when you’re particularly excited or elated. Part of being intuitive is being very attuned to energy, and we all give off a ton of it.
They are Masters of Self-Care
When you’re tapped into your intuition, you’re in touch with what your whole self needs- mind, body, and soul. Because of their heightened self-awareness, intuitive people take their self-care very seriously. They know when they need a break, and they know exactly what their body and mind needs to be refreshed and rejuvenated.
You’ll notice they handle themselves in stressful situations enviably, because they are constantly checking in with themselves to identify how they’re feeling and work through their emotions.
They’re Confident and Efficient Decision-Makers
That colleague or friend who’s always bringing their A-game when it comes to decision-making? There’s a strong chance they’re leaning on their intuition more often than not. Their connection to their intuition means they trust their instincts – they trust themselves! – to make efficient, beneficial decisions. That’s why intuitives make exceptional leaders.
They’re Big-Picture Thinkers
One of the biggest benefits of your intuition is the ability to see things more holistically. You can look at situations from a bird’s eye view and notice the small pieces to put together the bigger story. Intuitive people have strong situational awareness, so you won’t often find them perseverating over individual details, but instead looking at a situation or event as an entire whole. They’re inept at being able to line up the smaller pictures to make up the big one!
